Textbook
:
Nonparametric Statistical Methods by M. Hollander and
D. A. Wolfe, Second Edition, 1999. Wiley.
Instructor
:
: Miguel A. Arcones.

Grading
:
The grades for the course will come from homeworks.
Some of the problems in the homeworks will require the use of Splus.
Course description:
:
We will use the textbook to introduce the basics
notions of nonparametric statistics. But, the material will be expanded.
We will see several concepts such as asymptotic relative efficiency,
asymptotics for U-statistics using other books or my notes. I will supply
you a copy of my notes and handouts on Splus.
