Mathematical Problem-solving Group

Purpose and Rules:

This is an informal group, devoted to mathematical problem-solving. We meet weekly to discuss various problems from previous Putnam competitions and AIME competitions, and just to chat. At home, you try to solve these problems and/or read and understand their solutions.

Mathematical problem-solving can greatly enhance your mathematical education, but your regular classes should be higher on your priority list. It is expected that not all participants will be coming to our meetings every time, and this is not a for-credit activity.
