Benjamin Schröter

I am a Riley Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the State University of New York at Binghamton and a developer of the software polymake. Prior to coming to Binghamton I visited the Institut Mittag-Leffler in Sweden for the program Tropical Geometry, Amoebas and Polytopes. I graduated in the group Discrete Mathematics/Geometry of Technische Universität Berlin. Advised by Michael Joswig.

combinatorics, matroid theory, polyhedral geometry, mathematical software, tropical geometry, algebraic geometry, tropical Grassmannians, Dressians and many others
