a. Finals have been graded. Your letter grades are now
available on BB and I have already "rolled" them into the database
of the Office of Records (Registrar - visible in BU Brain).
b. There have been requests for extra credit work from some of you
who wish they would have obtained a better grade.
Sorry folks, but that is not possible.
c. It is my sincere wish that what you have learned in this class
will be of use to you during your academic and professional careers.

Solutions for quizzes from Spring 2016 have been posted
to the course materials page.
You can use those as additional material to prepare for the final.

a. What's on the final?
Check the Q & A page. The only shift in focus:
The final will be very heavy on hypothesis testing
because none was done on exam 3.
b. Check the home page or schedule of the Math 148 website
for the dates and times of the final and the makeup final.
Students with extended time will continue at my office.

Exam 3 this Friday, April 21.
What's on the exam: ch.16.2-24.
There will be for sure questions about confidence intervals.
1) Duration is 55 minutes. We start at 12:00 and finish at 12:55.
Be there 10 minutes early.
2) Don't forget your calculators; bring a spare if you have it.
Bring extra batteries!
3) If you bring your TI-83 or another programmable or graphing
calculator, we will confiscate it!
4) Review syllabus and Q&A pages for info concerning index cards etc.
5) Students with extended time (letter from SSD)
will continue in Prof. Fochler's office.
6) If you need to take the makeup: email BOTH the instructor
and your TA by TODAY, Wednesday, April 19, 9:00 PM.
The makeup exam is planned for Monday, March 24, after lecture.
It will be given no later than Tuesday, March 25, 5:00 PM.
