Math 330 Announcements

12/11/2025     a. The final exams are graded and those grades are available on BS and the anon grades page.
b. I have also emailed the anon grades spreadsheet:
  •   It contains your letter grades and you can explore the formulas I used to see how they have been computed.
  •   Just this one: the hwkAdj column has your HW points scaled to 400 points.
  •   I have added a flat 5 points to everyone's score. Consider that your curved grade.
  •   I have added an extra 5 points so that nobody will think they missed that next letter grade by only one point. You will lack at least SIX points!
  •   Accordingly, don't try to bargain with me. You will not be successful!
  •   I will migrate my course site into my archive. You can find a link to this archive at the bottom of my faculty page.
c. It is time to say good bye. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching this semester's class.
Since this class had so few students, I was able to spend plenty of time with those of you who were seeking me out.
It was my privilege to have been your instructor. Good luck to all of you!
12/3/2025     a. Quiz 10 grades and selected solutions have been published.
b. I'll make an effort to release an updated anon grades spreadsheet later today. No promises.
12/2/2025     a. I am on campus today and available at my office as usual.
b. Reminder: The last quiz of this semester will be given on Wed Dec 3.
11/27/2025     a. The Finals review session will be held on Saturday 12/6, 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM, NOT on Sunday 12/7/25!
b. The anonymous grades spreadsheet was emailed to you on 11/26. Your actual letter grade may be better or worse than the one projected on 780 points, depending on your final HW points, quiz10, and final exam grade.
11/26/2025     a. A Finals review session will be held on either Saturday 12/6, 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM, or on Sunday 12/7, 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM.
This depends on whether or not I'll have family visiting on that weekend. I will post an update as soon as this matter is settled.
