Hotel Information
All out-of-town participants (excluding the Cornell participants, who will be commuting) will stay at the Quality Inn and Suites Vestal , at 4105 Vestal Parkway East Vestal, NY 13850.The hotel will be reserved and paid for by the organizers. The front desk will have the list of participants, including the room pairing for graduate students, so you will just need to tell them your name when you arrive. The hotel has a pretty good complimentary breakfast. There are also several eateries nearby. In particular, Denny's accross the road is open 24/7.
The hotel is at the edge of the campus, about 15-minute walk from the central campus. All talks will be in the Science Library building (highlighted on the campus map). If you find yourself lost, the 14-story Glenn Bartle Library, with the radio mast on top, is the tallest building on campus, and the Science Library building is nearby, to the north-north-west. (Note: on some campus maps the North is pointing down. This is traditional, to make the campus resemble the scheme of the brain).
