Sculptures from Fall 2024 through Spring 2026

On this page will be pictures of sculptures I made from Fall 2024 through Spring 2026.

Most of my artistic efforts in this period were directed towards making 3D printed models related to my research project with Robert Bieri and Daniel Studenmund. This project studies piecewise isometry groups acting on tessellations of Euclidean or hyperbolic spaces. The models helped us visualize and understand such tessellations in 3 dimensional cases. In the 2 dimensional cases we can draw pictures on paper, but even those can be complicated. Below I will show the pictures that give some ideas about this work, but pictures on a screen cannot fully convey the information in a 3D printed model you can hold in you hands and view from any angle.
