The course will be taught according to the book
"Stats - Data & Models, 5th edition" by De Veaux/Velleman/Bock.
Pearson, the publisher of the book, has an offering called MyStatLab.
You will need the MyStatLab access code to register for Math 147B on the MyStatlab website,
also referred to as the SDM website or the DVB website.
(SDM stands for the initials of the text, Stats, Data & Models,
and DVB stands for the initials of
De Veaux/Velleman/Bock, the authors of the textbook.)
IMPORTANT:
It used to be the case that you had to explicitly register to obtain MyStatLab access.
This course participates in the FIRST DAY program which offers a reduced price for the Pearson materials
for this course.
As a student of Math 147B you have been automatically enrolled into MyStatLab and have been/will be
automatically charged for that access.
You must go into the instructor's BrightSpace (not the one for your TA section!)
to reveal your access code
you also go there to opt out!
Navigation instructions:
In the Course Tools dropdown, select "Course Materials - B&N First Day".
