Math 330 Homework Assignments

Read the Homework section of the syllabus for the rules and regulations! Some additional pointers:
  • Write neatly, leave a big margin on the left and leave a blank line between any two lines so I can write remarks and corrections.
  • Be sure to let me know WHY you are allowed to do what you did.
  • Don't make me search for your name and which assignment and problem you did.
  • You may work in groups, but everyone must write their own assignment and list the names of all collaborators.
  • This sample homework assignment illustrates those points.

2/4/2026 Homework 02. Last submission due Wed Feb 4 (before HW1!). Graded only ONCE. Worth 10 points. No reading assignments.
2/6/2026 Homework 01. Last submission due Fri Feb 6. Reminder: Review the sample homework assignment and the template that shows how to write a proof.
5/8/2026-02 Homework zero: an email that
    a. lists your math background, including for the current semester(!),
    b. acknowledges that you have read the syllabus posted on the course website and/or on MyCourses,
    c. tells me why you chose to take this course
Your email should refer to "Homework zero" in the subject. Due by Mon 8/26!
